SPECIAL INTERESTS:

I am just a typical jack of all trades: Clever in many areas, master of none.

Photography - A very dedicated amateur photographer, I like mostly to snap my friends at home or outdoors. Despite several cameras, I am myself seldom in front of the objective. I don't photograph buildings or streets without myself or a friend in it, because picture post cards are so much better and cheaper.

Computers and software - My next biggest interest is PC and compatibles. Over the years I took many special or adult-education courses in PC usage, configuration and assembly and some courses in Basic, Turbo Pascal and Visual Basic. I read regularly several good computer magazines in Swedish and English to keep myself a-jour with current and new developments. I am quite familiar with most PC WINDOWS software. Lately, most interest is being concentrated on Internet and WWW. I could easily TEACH PC and elementary programming at an intermediate level.

Travelling - Any time I find some time over and some extra money I go travelling. I've been to almost every country in Europe. London, Hamburg and St. Petersburg are my favorites. The bigger leaps to Africa, Americas and Far East are still waiting.

Teaching - Long before I got my teacher's education and qualification by the Turkish Ministry of Education I just loved teaching. During all my student years I was always popular as a helping friend or a private tutor. OK, I was the nerd of the school. So what? I was everybody's friend and also earned enough money to do all this education.

Charity - I've been interested and involved in social work concerning children and elderly people. Although I support and appreciate any effort to preserve the Nature, environment and animals in their natural habitats I've never understood or liked people keeping some animals confined in small flats. Sorry, folks! Now that I have time, I might help with some development project in the "third" World. The social benefits and welfare of senior citizens in Sweden are highly exaggerated. I can't give anything material, but might think of some kind of help-work in, say, West Africa or Philippines, Romania or Turkey, Russia, Balticum or Far East. I feel I could teach languages, computer (PC) and software usage, programming, home economics (food), food quality control and evaluation, food canning and deep-freezing, even pure agricultural extension work in the field. Any public or private school or organisation (FAO?) or corporation (ABB, Skanska?) in above named areas can contact me with any kind of offers. WHY NOT just a language-speaking and computer- literate office worker as extra hand? All I need for myself is principally just B & B.
Who dares take the challenge?

Literature/Art- Art and architecture always fascinated me. When I discovered early that I couldn't draw a face to look "human enough" I took to photos instead. In younger days I had some poetry work and translated novels published. More of the same are planned. Nowadays, I'm trying to find time... all the time!
